Kansas ran out to a 42-13 lead in the first half and cruised in the second half to a lopsided 89-34 win over the Howard Bisons.
The Jayhawks hit 58 percent of their shots in the game including 9-17 attempts from beyond-the-arc. They forced Howard into 22 turnovers while coming up with 23 assists on 33 made baskets in the game.
Tyshawn Taylor and Conner Teahan each finished with 13 points to lead the Jayhawks. Jeff Withey also finished in double figures with 10 points. Bill Self emptied his bench in this one with 11 of the 13 Jayhawks that played in the game scoring. Prince Okoroh led Howard with seven points and six rebounds.
Kansas improves to 9-3 on the season. The Jayhawks will be back in action on Saturday when they host Notre Dame.
