I just finished writing a story that's basically about Jacob Pullen coming alive at the right time for the Kansas State Wildcats. In the last three games he's put up 38, 27 and 27 points -- all three K-State victories.
That scoring outburst came at a good time for Pullen which now puts him that much closer to a milestone.
Senior Jacob Pullen will enter Saturday's game with Missouri just seven points shy of 2,000 career points.
After seeing Pullen's performance the last three games, I can see him breaking the 2,000 mark rather quickly (and probably via free throw).
Pullen's been on a run lately and hitting 2,000 points will only bring more attention to that. He's had a long, productive career (seems longer than four years) and it's winding down. Good for him to hit a milestone like that.
