KU Basketball Schedule With Texas A&M, Mizzou May Be Toughest Week Yet, Bill Self Says

The Kansas Jayhawks enter what may be their toughest week of the season, according to Bill Self. KU's head coach told the media on Monday that the upcoming week with game against Texas A&M and Missouri may be their toughest week-long stretch of the season.

Looking at KU's schedule, he may be right. I'm not sure if there's a tougher two-game stretch all year. There was Texas and then a trip to Colorado in one stretch and at Nebraska and Mizzou in another stretch but Texas A&M and Mizzou to end the season may be the toughest yet.

Kansas has yet to play Texas A&M this season. The Aggies are 22-6 and 9-5 in the conference good enough for third place in the Big 12.

Kansas beat Mizzou once earlier this year but the Tigers really did play a good game. I think KU just showed up hotter than usual. The Jayhawks will travel to Columbia this weekend and play the Tigers who are 22-7 on the season and 8-6 in the Big 12.

This is a nice little tune--up for KU as they enter the Big 12 and NCAA tournament in March.
