When the Kansas Jayhawks tip in Lincoln about 10 minutes from now it will be without starting guard Josh Selby. Selby has been dealing with a foot injury over the past week and while x-ray results showed no fracture, the foot is still in pain.
After testing the foot in warm ups to see if Selby could contribute it was determined that sitting and resting the foot looks to be the best option. Senior guard Brady Morningstar will replace Selby in the starting lineup.
Still too early to know if this will affect Selby’s status for Monday’s battle with border rival Missouri, but for today the Jayhawks are one short without Selby.
