The top four seeds all played on Thursday at the Big 12 tournament and only three of them are moving onto the semifinals on Friday. Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Texas A&M will move onto the next round on Friday night at the Sprint Center.
It was a long day in Kansas City watching the games on Thursday so here's a quick refresher:
Kansas 63 Oklahoma State 62
Wow this was game was closer than I thought it'd be. KU was a 14.5 point favorite but they barely escaped OSU. The Cowboys had the ball on the last possession, down one point, but a broken play caused their final shot to come from several feet behind the three-point line. Kansas didn't play great but they weren't terrible either. Credit OSU for shooting lights out much of the game. Kansas moves on to face Colorado in the seimfinals.

Colorado 87 Kansas State 75
Another surprise. Well, maybe not a total surprise considering this was the THIRD time Colorado has beaten Kansas State this year but I thought the Wildcats would do it. Alec Burks and Cory Higgins dominated this game, Burks took over in the first half with 16 points and Higgins responded in the second half when they locked down Burks. Colorado moves onto to face Kansas in the semifinals.

Texas 74 Oklahoma 54
Oklahoma upset Baylor in round one and did so by shooting over 50 percent from the field and drilling a few three-pointers. To upset Texas, they would need to do the same plus some. Unfortunately for the Sooners, they didn't. Texas dominated the game from the start winning 74-54. Jordan Hamilton was the Longhorns leader with 22 points and 10 boards. Texas now moves onto the semifinals against Texas A&M.

Texas A&M 86 Missouri 71
Crazy stat: Missouri made only two of it's first 19 shots. Two! You can't win a game like that. The Tigers ended up making mini-runs here and there making you think this game would be close but the truth is that it was never within single digits. Mizzou just wasn't ready to play and had no offensive rhythm. As you know, Mizzou's reputation is for being a great offense. They couldn't respond to Texas A&M. The Aggies now move onto the Semifinals to face Texas.
