NCAA Tournament Scores: Clemson Vs. UAB, UNC-Asheville Vs. Arkansas-Little Rock

That's not a bad start, 2011 NCAA tournament. In our first game of the bracket, UNC-Asheville beat Arkansas-Little Rock, 81-77. The first game going to overtime has to be a sign that this will be, as always, an awesome tournament. Clemson beat UAB in the second game Tuesday night.

UALR held a three-point lead as a pair of starters fouled out but that didn't stop UNC-Asheville's Matt Dickey from drilling a three-pointer with 10 seconds left to tie the game. UALR's Matt Mouzy's attempt at the buzzer on the other end was no good and we headed off to overtime where UNC-Asheville was able to take hold. They'll move on to play Pittsburgh.

Clemson shot 51 percent from the field and forced 19 turnovers as they beat UAB, 70-52. The reward: a matchup against West Virginia on Thursday night. Clemson's Jeral Grant was the leader of the pack scoring 22 points along with eight boards.

So that's our first two games of the tournament and one was very good and another was a blowout. Let's hope we have a lot more games like the UNC-Asheville vs. Arkansas-Little Rock OT game.
