NCAA Bracket Predictions: Texas Upset? Oakland Think So

Oakland won the Summit League which earned them a No. 13 seed in the 2011 NCAA tournament bracket and their prize is playing No. 4 seed Texas on Thursday morning at 11:15 p.m. (CT). Though Texas is favored to win the game, plenty of folks, including ESPN's Joe Lunardi, think Oakland can pull off the upset.

Here are a few things Oakland is saying about Thursday's game against the Longhorns:

"It's going to be an exciting game with a fast tempo. A lot of people might expect us to change up our style of play against a stronger and athletic team, but I doubt it. We're going to go out there and stick to Oakland University's principles."

"We won't get thought of as a Butler-like team until we win a game, that's what I'm trying to do to extend our legacy," Benson said.

"You've got to (upset a team)," Kampe said. "Once you do it, you'll be the flavor of the month. You go win and all the accolades will come with winning."

Can they do it? We'll find out by about 1:00 p.m. (CT) today. In the meantime, check out Burnt Orange Nation to see what Texas fans are saying about the game.
