KU Basketball Has Plenty Of Motivation To Beat Texas A&M Aggies

The Kansas Jayhawks basketball team will host the Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday night in Lawrence. It's not just any night, though. it's Senior Night for the Jayhawks as guys like Brady Morningstar, Tyrel Reed and Mario Little are honored for their efforts at KU.

It's also a night of "consecutives" as Owen Kemp of SB Nation's Rock Chalk Talk points out.

It's a night of "consecutives".  Kansas has won for 26 consecutive senior nights.   A win tonight pushes that to 27 and of course pushes the consecutive conference championship streak to SEVEN....YES 7!!!!!  Lucky 7.  Not a chance the Jayhawks lose this one and I usually don't make that bold of a prediction.

Kemp touched on seven consecutive Big 12 titles in his earlier story but, wow, that's pretty incredible. I remember Bill Self saying earlier this week that KU fans almost take it for granted by now. Kansas would also add to their current number of 53 overall conference titles, the highest in the country.

Piggybacking on Kemp's prediction, I'll go with a Kansas win and, probably, a Kansas blowout. Check out Rock Chalk Talk for more on KU.
