Big 12 Tournament Bracket Day One: College Basketball Odds Say Baylor Over Oklahoma

The Baylor Bears enter day one of the Big 12 tournament bracket as a seven seed facing the Oklahoma Sooners at the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City. College basketball odds say Baylor is a seven-point favorite over Oklahoma, who is a ten seed.

The last time these two teams played on Feb. 2 Oklahoma beat Baylor, 73-66, in a game that was delayed because of weather. On Jan. 11, Baylor registered a 13-point victory over Oklahoma.

Baylor finished the season 18-9 and 7-9 in the Big 12 on their way to losing four of its last five games. Baylor has the talent as evidenced in guys like LaceDarius Dunn (All-Big 12 First Team) and Perry Jones III (All-Big 12 Rookie Team) but couldn't put any sort of consistent run together.

Oklahoma finished the season 13-17 and 5-11 in the Big 12. It had lost eight consecutive games before winning the regular season finale against Oklahoma State.

Baylor is favored to win this game and it's hard to predict it going any other way. Though it's been inconsistent, you have to think Baylor's talent will win out here. Still, that these two teams split the regular season series shows that it really can go either way.
