The 2011 Big 12 tournament at Kansas City's Sprint Center is a mere three hours away at this point. The entire tournament will run from Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to Saturday night at 5:00 p.m. The favorite to win the whole thing is, as usual, the Kansas Jayhawks.
The top game of the first round are, in my opinion, Mizzou vs. Texas Tech. The Tigers are heavy favorites but this is also a pro-Mizzou crowd so that will likely get the most attention of the four first round games.
The top game in the second round will be whoever Kansas plays -- Nebraska or Oklahoma State. After that, the top game could be Mizzou vs. Texas A&M, if the Tigers beat Texas Tech on Wednesday night. The third best game would be Kansas State vs Colorado, if the Buffs beat Iowa State on Wednesday.
The top games in the third round aren't known yet but if both Kansas and Kansas State win their first game, they'll meet in the third round on Friday. Barring a KU vs. MU championship, I imagine this will be the best game of the tournament. Missouri could also be playing Texas on this day if both teams win.
