Big 12 Tournament Schedule Continues With Iowa State Vs. Colorado

The Big 12 tournament continues with the Iowa State Cyclones and Colorado Buffaloes. The first game in the bracket is in the books with the Oklahoma State Cowboys beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Now we look to the fifth seeded Buffs against the 12th seeded Cyclones. Here's the full Big 12 tournament bracket.

Colorado is a 4.5 point favorite in this game so we'll expect something close. The two teams actually split the season series so it really could go either way.

Colorado will bring out conference player of the year candidate Alec Burks, who is averaging nearly 20 points per game. He's been money throughout the year and he'll have a bigger stage to show what he can do. They don't need a super human performance from him to beat Iowa State but he can't disappear. He'll be a key in this game.

Iowa State finished the season 3-13 in the conference so it's hard to expect them to make much noise. In fact, they haven't made noise -- or won a Big 12 tournament game -- since March of 2005. I'm not sure that they're due yet.

The game gets going shortly after 2:00 p.m. (CT). Check out Clone Chronicles and the Ralphie Report for more.
