Big 12 Tournament Bracket Update: Halftime Score Has Iowa State Leading Colorado, 28-26

Iowa State, 3-13 and last place in the Big 12, is beating the fifth seed Colorado Buffaloes at halftime, 28-26. The two teams are in the midst of the second game in the first round of the 2011 Big 12 tournament.

I said one of my keys to the game was getting Big 12 player of the year candidate Alec Burks involved in the game so he doesn't disappear. At halftime, Burks has just four points on 2-of-6 shooting from the field. He hasn't been invisible though as he still has nine boards.

Neither side is shooting very well -- both under 40 percent -- and Iowa State is leading thanks in part to four three-pointers compared to Colorado's one. Darion 'Jake' Anderson has 12 points leading the Cyclones and Cory Higgins has eight to lead Colorado.

We'll see if Colorado gets back on track in the second half. They're a 4.5 point favorite in this game and the winner will go on to face Kansas State on Thursday.
