Big 12 Tournament Bracket Update: Oklahoma Upsets Baylor, 84-67

The Baylor Bears were the seventh seed in the 2011 Big 12 tournament and they went down quickly. Oklahoma topped Baylor, 84-67, in round one of the conference tournament. Oklahoma moves on in the bracket to face Texas in the quarterfinals. Here's the full Big 12 tournament bracket.

Baylor was an 8.5 point favorite a day before the game but just hours before Wednesday's game they received word that the NCAA had ruled standout freshman Perry Jones III ineligible and he wouldn't be playing in the game. Baylor appealed the ruling but that didn't get him on the court on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma had four guys in double digits and, as a team, shot 57 percent from the field. Cade Davis lead the Sooners with 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-8 from three-point land. Carl Blair added 14 points while Cameron Clark and Steven Pledger scored 10 points apiece.

Baylor's bright spot came from Quincy Acy who went 6-of-9 from the field for 21 points and a whopping 15 boards. Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn had to step up in Perry Jones III absence and he went a miserable 3-of-15 from the field for 11 points.

Baylor ends a disappointing 18-12 season with a first round tournament loss. Meanwhile, Oklahoma will do something many didn't think they'd be doing -- playing on Thursday.
