Kansas Jayhawks Make Top Five On Top Recruit Jabari Parker's List

While the class of 2013 might seem too far away to even worry about, it's the seeds that are planted years in advance that ultimately pay off for high profile coaches and programs like Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. That's why it's such good news to see that the second ranked player in the class, Jabari Parker of 2013 has KU among his top five.

Other schools alongside KU include Duke, Illinois, Washington and Michigan State. The 6-7 small forward from Chicago is the top ranked small forward as well and Scouts, Inc. loves him when they write, "It will be fun to follow Parker's progress because he has the tools to be an special player. He is versatile on the offensive end, with the ability to make plays from the wing, low block and high post. Parker has off the charts upside."

Several other schools have already extended offers to Parker, including Missouri, but of course it will be a while until anything is finalized.
