It was quite a first weekend in college football with major college match-ups dominating the landscape. Boise State faced Georgia and Louisiana State played Oregon in what could have easily been two major BCS match-ups at the end of this season. Suffice to say, for those who were hungry for some meaningful football action, this weekend was cooked to order.

As the new rankings make their way out, it's clear that even though the Tigers of LSU have the best win in the nation by far in this early going, Oklahoma is still held as the overall favorite by a mile. Thus, the Sooners remain atop the AP Top 25 this week with almost double the first place votes of LSU. The Tigers, however, do move to the No. 2 slot and have positioned themselves quite nicely with such an incredible win over Oregon. As for the Ducks, the best uniforms in college football fall to No. 13. You can see the rest of the Top 25 below.
