Kansas improved to 13-3 and 3-0 in the Big 12 with a decisive 81-46 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The win extends Kansas' winning streak to six games and gives the Jayhawks their 10th win in their last 11 games.
After cruising to a 35-20 lead, the Jayhawks shifted gears in the second half extending their lead by outscoring Texas Tech 46-26 over the final 20 minutes. Thomas Robinson logged a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Tyshawn Taylor finished with 15 points and five assists while Travis Releford added 12 points and three steals.
Texas Tech hit just 31 percent of its field goal attempts and went 1-11 from three-point range in the game. Javarez Willis was the only Red Raiders player to crack double figures in scoring with 12 points. Jaye Crockett added nine points in the loss. Texas Tech falls to 7-8 on the season and 0-3 in the Big 12.
