Tyshawn Taylor, Baylor's Perry Jones III Share Big 12 Honors

On the eve of a huge regular season showdown between No. 10 ranked Kansas and No. 4 Baylor in Lawrence, the team's stars - Kansas' Tyshawn Taylor and Baylor's Perry Jones III - are sharing Big 12 Player of the Week honors.

The Jayhawks rallied from a 12-point deficit in the second half to beat Iowa State on Saturday, thanks largely in part to Taylor's career-high 28 points, 22 of which came in the second half. Last week Taylor averaged 21.5 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game in a pair of conference wins over Texas Tech and Iowa State.

Jones scored 17 in the Bears' huge road win at Kansas State on Saturday. He averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds in two Bear wins over the Wildcats and Oklahoma State last week.
