The Kansas Jayhawks used a late 13-0 run to take a 39-29 lead over undefeated Baylor at halftime of a key Big 12 matchup.
Perry Jones III made a jump shot with 4:10 remaining to put Baylor up 29-26 but left the game after landing awkwardly. The Bears wouldn't score again as Tyshawn Taylor took over.
Taylor leads all scorers in the first half with 14 points including 3-4 shooting from beyond-the-arc. Thomas Robinson added 12 points and five rebounds. The Jayhawks out rebounded the Bears 21-13 in the first half and hit 48 percent of their field goal attempts.
Jones III was leading Baylor with 10 points before heading to the bench. The Bears have struggled to make shots without him only connecting on 37 percent in the first half. Quincy Miller has seven points at halftime.
