Kansas Vs. Texas Final Score: Jayhawks Hold Off Longhorns To Win 69-66

The Kansas Jayhawks were in a battle against the Texas Longhorns during the second half. Kansas had a fairly comfortable lead at the half up 12 points, but then Texas went on a 25-12 run in the second half to take the lead 59-58 over Kansas with 5:39 left in the game. Texas then went on to increase their lead to 64-60, but Kansas then went onto score the next five points to go up 65-64.

Texas would regain the lead on a pair of free throws by J'Covan Brown to put them up 66-65 with 1:53 left in the game, but those would be the last points that Texas would score. Kansas would score on a Jeff Withey layup to give Kansas the lead for good, and then Withey and Thomas Robinson would each make a free throw to win the game.

Kansas head coach Bill Self called this win the best so far this season for Kansas. This win improved Kansas' record to 5-0 on the Big 12 and 15-3 overall.
