The No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks will look to make it seven consecutive Big 12 wins when they host a struggling Texas A&M team Monday night at the Allen Field House.

Kansas is coming off a hard-fought 69-66 win over the Texas Longhorns in Austin, with their two most experienced players -- Thomas Robinson and Tyshawn Taylor -- bringing them back on the road against a desperate Longhorns team, combining to score 39 points on 15-29 shooting.

Texas A&M, a pre-season top 25 team who were expected to contend for the Big 12 championship, comes into Lawrence just as desperate for a signature win, as they've started out the season 11-7.

However, their best player, SF Khris Middleton, has looked better in recent weeks, as he's coming off an early-season knee surgery that kept him out of most of non-conference play.

Under Mark Turgeon, the Aggies became known for their hard-nosed half-court defense, but new coach Billy Kennedy has struggled to adapt to his system to his new players, especially after missing all of the preseason after being diagnosed with Parkinson's.

The 9:00 PM game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
