Kansas Vs. Kansas State Score: Jayhawks Off To Fast Start Leading Wildcats 35-20 At Halftime

The Kansas Jayhawks got off to a fast start in their rivalry matchup with the Wildcats of Kansas State and take a 35-20 lead into halftime. Kansas jumped out to a 23-5 lead to start the game behind a stingy defense and the strong play of Thomas Robinson.

Robinson finished the half with nine points and 10 rebounds on 4-6 shooting from the floor. Travis Relaford added seven points while Tyshawn Taylor and Kevin Young each chipped in six points. Kansas hit 50 percent of its field goal attempts and have a commanding 23-12 rebounding lead over the Wildcats.

Kansas State couldn't buy a shot in the first half against the Jayhawks defense and finished the half shooting under 30 percent. Rodney McGruder leads the Wildcats with six points while Martavious Irving added five points.
