The Kansas Jayhaws have the No. 3 recruiting class for 2013, according to the latest rankings by Rivals.com. A new commitment from wing player Wayne Selden to join a class that includes Rivals' No. 22-ranked player Brannen Greene, No. 28-ranked Conner Frankamp and No. 131-ranked Frank Mason puts Bill Self's Kansas class behind only the usual suspects from John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats and Billy Donovan's Florida Gators.
Rivals' Eric Bossi writes that Self's class is a physical one:
"Bill Self and the Jayhawks have really solidified their perimeter rotation with the additions of Selden and Mason. Selden is a big and physical guard who is perfect for all of the ball screen action run by the Jayhawks while Mason is a hard charging guard with lots of toughness. Greene is a tall shooter with length who stretches defenses while Frankamp is another long range bomber who is also quite capable off the dribble."
Memphis, Louisville, Duke, Marquette, Michigan, Arkansas and Illinois round out the top 10 of the 2013 rankings. Iowa State is the highest-ranked Big 12 school after Kansas, coming in at No. 21.
