Charlie Weis and Kansas have pulled another late surprise in their second signing day announcement of the day. This time that announcement comes out of the State of Florida where Weis has managed to pull linebacker Schyler Miles away from the home state Florida Gators.
Miles instantly becomes the biggest high school signing for the Jayhawks in this last minute class as he chooses Kansas over Florida and future Big 12 opponent West Virginia.
Weis recruited Miles during his time at Florida and it was that relationship that allowed Kansas to move in and bring Miles to Lawrence for a visit. This is a solid addition to the Jayhawk class and a potential foundational type player at the linebacker position going forward.
