So far the matchup between two top-five schools is going in favor of the No. 3 ranked Missouri Tigers who are up 12 points over No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks at the break. Marcus Denmon is leading three Missouri players in double figures with 13 points and has shot four-of-seven with three made three-pointers. Ricardo Ratliffe is also having a big game for Missouri with 10 points and 11 rebounds and the other Tiger in double digits is Michael Dixon who has came off the bench to score 11 points.
The three-point shot is where Missouri has the edge over Kansas six made to Kansas' three, however missed free throws is another reason why Kansas is trailing at the break. Kansas has made only seven-of-15 from the line where Missouri has made all eight.
Kansas is being led by Thomas Robinson who has 10 points and is the only player to be shooting better than 50 percent for Kansas, as a team they are shooting only 40 percent. To get back into this game Kansas will need to find their shooting stroke in the second half.
