Thomas Robinson Is The Big 12's Player Of The Week For A Fourth Time

Thomas Robinson now has a month's worth of Big 12 Player of the Week awards this season, grabbing the honor for a fourth time following Kansas' wins over Missouri and Texas A&M.

Robinson averaged 19 points and 12.5 rebounds in the pair of wins last week, and hit big plays late in KU's win over the Tigers, including a three-point play to tie the game at 75, and a block of Phil Pressey's three pointer that sent the game to OT.

Kansas has all but owned this weekly award in 2011-'12, claiming its seventh Player of the Week honor. Robinson's four is the most since a guy named Kevin Durant at Texas in 2006-'07 (four wins is good for a tie at third-most in conference history), so he's certainly in some solid company.
