NCAA Tournament 2012: Kansas And Missouri Both No. 2 Seeds In Latest Joe Lunardi Bracketology

Kansas lost the No. 1 seed when they lost to Baylor in the Big 12 conference tournament. Missouri certainly warrants a top seed as well by taking out Baylor and capping an incredible Big 12 season for the Tigers.

The latest bracketology post from Joe Lunardi leading up to tonight's unveiling of the 65 teams who will play for the NCAA men's basketball championship has bad news for local college basketball fans: both Missouri and Kansas are going to be No. 2 seeds. Perhaps that's not a big deal, but for those rooting for some national attention on two of the best teams in the country, it seems as if the respect is not high enough for Big 12 basketball.

Kansas lost the No. 1 seed when they lost to Baylor in the Big 12 conference tournament. Missouri certainly warrants a top seed as well by taking out Baylor and capping an incredible Big 12 season for the Tigers. But both teams are at No. 2 seeds as Lunardi is projecting the eventual Big Ten champ to take the final No. 1 seed that also includes Kentucky, Syracuse and North Carolina.
