2012 NCAA Bracket: Missouri And Michigan State Land In West

After a successful regular season, the Missouri Tigers have landed the No. 2 seed in the West region for this year's NCAA Tournament, as the selection committee announced on Sunday. The Tigers received an automatic bid after winning the 2012 Big 12 Tournament.

The West region should pose numerous challenges for a talented Missouri team. In the first round of the tournament, the Tigers will be facing 15-seeded Norfolk State with the winner moving on to face No. 7 seeded Florida Gators against No. 10 Virginia in the second round.

The top seed is No. 1 Michigan State, the team that likely kept Missouri from taking the top spot, so it will be interesting to chart both teams as they head toward the Final Four. Other top teams in the region include Marquette and Louisville.
