March Madness 2012, Kansas Vs. Detroit: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Kansas Jayhawks begin the NCAA Tournament against the Detroit Titans of the Horizon League, and really this game should be all Kansas as they are favored by 15 points in addition to playing close to home. However, Kansas fans recall upsets losing to mid-major schools with most recently falling to the Northern Iowa as the top overall seed two years ago and VCU last season, plus Bucknell back in 2005. So, Kansas overlooking Detroit is probably not going to happen.

Kansas has Thomas Robinson who is averaging a double-double this year and is on the short list of player of the year awards; plus Detroit has no one on their roster that can slow him down.

Game date/time: Friday, March 16, 8:57 p.m. CT (approximate)

Location: CenturyLink Arena, Omaha, Neb.

TV: truTV

Radio: Digital Global Sports

Announcers: Marv Albert and Steve Kerr (Craig Sager, sideline reporting)

Streaming: NCAA March Madness Live

Line: Kansas (-15)
