Kansas Vs. Purdue Halftime Score: Jayhawks Trail Boilermakers 36-30

Getting to the Sweet 16 is going to be tough if the Kansas Jayhawks keep playing the way they are tonight against the Purdue Boilermakers as they trail 36-30 at the half. The Boilmakers are up due to Robbie Hummel having an excellent night with 22 points on 7-of-8 shooting which includes six three-pointers. There is no player on Kansas that is in double figures, their leading scorer is Travis Releford who has eight points.

The Kansas offense has been terrible so far as they have made only 29 percent of their shots and have tried to use the three-point shot to get back in this game. However, that has not worked well as Kansas has made only 4-of-16 from beyond the arc. As for Purdue even though Hummel has 22 of the teams 36 points overall they are shooting 54 percent from the field.

Kansas has never led in this game and came back from an 11-point deficit to make it a 31-30 game with 3:19 left in the first half, but Kansas would be held scoreless the rest of the way while Purdue put up five more points.
