The Oklahoma St. Cowboys had a big second half to defeat the Texas Tech Red Raiders 76-60 to move into the quarterfinals round where they will take on the Missouri Tigers. After a closer than expected first half, Oklahoma State had a big second half where they outscored Texas Tech 44-33 to easily get the victory.
Texas Tech did put a scare into Oklahoma State when they took a 36-35 lead early in the second half, but Oklahoma State responded by going on a 15-0 run to put away Texas Tech for good.
The offense was clicking for Oklahoma State on Wednesday as they shot 52 percent, were a perfect 16-of-16 from the free throw line and as a team had four players score in double figures. The leading scorers were Keiton Page who scored 20 points and Brian Williams had 19 points.
