The Missouri Tigers easily took care of the Oklahoma St. Cowboys 88-70 and now move onto the semifinal round on Friday. The Missouri offense was on tonight as they shot 59 percent from the field including making 7-of-17 from three-point range. From the start this game went Missouri's way as they rushed out to a 30-11 lead and led 49-24 at the half. In the second half, Oklahoma State made a minor run, but they never really made a dent in Missouri's lead.
Kim English led all scorers with 27 points and shot a blistering 11-of-13 from the field while Marcus Denmon contributed with 24 points. As a team Missouri had four players score in double digits, and they also had their way on the boards by out rebounding Oklahoma State 38-17.
Missouri will take on the winner between the Texas Longhorns and Iowa St. Cyclones on Friday night.
