The No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks are taking on the No. 4 seed Baylor Bears for the right to go to the Big 12 championship game. Kansas has defeated Baylor three times this season and the prior two games have not even been close.
However, Baylor did play one of their better games of the year against Kansas State on Thursday, so Kansas better be prepared. There is so much on the line for Kansas with a possible No. 1 seed they should not be overlooking Baylor even though they have had no issues against them this season.
Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City State believes if Baylor plays like they did against Kansas State then they have a real shot to knock of Kansas:
If that's the real Baylor, or at least the one that will show up against Kansas tomorrow, I'll be the one mumbling cuss words to myself and walking around in circles trying to pretend I'm not about to cry.
Because that's the Baylor we've been expecting all season.
That Baylor is a Final Four team.
More specifically, that Baylor can beat Kansas.
