Kansas football fans will finally have their chance to see some sort of action on the field this spring after multiple other programs have already done the same. Today represents the debut of much hyped quarterback transfers like Dayne Crist and Jake Heaps, and it’s also the first look at the team since Charlie Weis took over as head coach from Turner Gill who was fired shortly after the 2011 college football season.
From Rock Chalk Talk, “Kickoff is today 28 at 1 p.m., and Jayhawk fans will be able to watch the game live on Time Warner Cable Metro Sports in the Kansas City area. Saturday’s Metro Sports broadcast will feature announcers Nate Bukaty (play-by-play) and Richard Baldinger (analysis). Metro Sports is available throughout the Kansas City area on Time Warner Cable (channel 30 and 310 and in HD on 1310), Comcast (channel 258) and Knology in Lawrence (channel 37).”
