Kansas fell a game short of what would've been considered a remarkable run to a national title in 2011-'12, consider the Jayhawks' lack of depth and lowered preseason expectation, and now they'll likely face a stronger scenario next year. Three starters are expected to return to Kansas - Elijah Johnson and Jeff Withey, who announced Monday they'll return, and junior forward Travis Releford. Technically junior forward Thomas Robinson hasn't yet declared for the NBA Draft, but he's consider a certainty, and a Top 5 overall pick.
Additional returning players will include this year's reserve forwards Kevin Young (6-8 junior, Perris, Calif.) and Justin Wesley (6-9 sophomore, Fort Worth, Texas), and point guard Naadir Tharpe (5-11, Worcester, Mass.). New faces on the floor will be freshman and current scout team members Ben McLemore (6-5, St. Louis) and Jamari Traylor (6-8, Chicago)
