Thomas Robinson is going to add to some team’s frontcourt and the latest mock from DraftExpress has the New Orleans Hornets selecting Robinson at No. 4 overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Robinson is considered one of the best bigs in the entire draft, and Anthony Davis is likely the only frontcourt player who will be chosen ahead of him.
The Kansas forward was a finalist for the National Player of the Year award in college basketball last season after averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Jayhawks. Robinson took the team to the title game before losing to Kentucky in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. It was an unexpected run for a KU team that most believed would even concede their run of Big 12 supremacy.
The draft lottery is tonight and will go a big way toward determining where Robinson could get taken.
