2012 NBA Draft Lottery Results: The New Orleans Hornets Come Away With The Top Pick

The Oklahoma City Thunder don't have to worry about being a lottery team anymore as they are currently amongst the NBA's elite. But there were 14 other teams that aren't so lucky and were looking to change their fortune in the NBA Draft Lottery.

Kentucky's Anthony Davis is the consensus number one overall pick and seen as a franchise changing type of player. The Charlotte Bobcats, after finishing with the worst record in NBA history, had the best chance to get the top pick and draft Davis, but how often has the team with the best chance actually won the lottery?

This year would be no different as the New Orleans Hornets were the last team called and became the winners of the Anthony Davis sweepstakes. The NBA Draft will take place on June 28th and here's a look at this years lottery selections:
