Thomas Robinson is the early X-factor in the 2012 NBA Draft. The Kansas forward has been listed anywhere among the top six positions in the lottery and yet Robinson believes he should be No. 1 overall to the New Orleans Hornets instead of Kentucky's Anthony Davis. Clearly there's a difference of opinion on Robinson's game all around, including with Robinson himself.

Robinson had an incredible season for the Jayhawks taking the team to the NCAA Tournament title game in a season in which everyone expected Kansas to restock after losing the Morris twins and Josh Selby to the NBA. Instead, he was among Player of the Year contenders and, along with Tyshawn Taylor, helped KU claim their eighth straight Big 12 title.

The latest mock at USA Today has Robinson going to the Charlotte Bobcats at No. 2 overall. Steve Kyler writes about Robinson's game, "Physically dominating. Prototype power forward. Relentless in the paint. Polished player with proven ability."

No one doubts Robinson's ability to make an impact in the frontcourt at the NBA level. The only question is how great that impact will be.
