2012 NBA Mock Draft: Oklahoma City Thunder Linked To Draymond Green From Michigan State

The latest mock is out for the 2012 NBA Mock Draft from Yahoo! Sports' Jonathan Givony, and the Oklahoma City Thunder will have to wait for some time until a lot of talent goes off the board before they can add to their already talented roster. The good news is that Givony still has a nice talent awaiting them at No. 28 overall in the first round with Draymond Green from Michigan State.

Green is a strong power forward at 6-7, 236 and is the Michigan State career leader in rebounds. He averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds his senior year and comes with great experience, character and leadership.

Givony writes, "The Thunder have one of the most stacked rosters in the NBA, which should allow them to take the best talent available. Green has more wins under his belt than any other player in this draft - as well as the type of character the Thunder covet. He could provide some of the mismatch potential OKC lost at the power forward spot with Jeff Green, even if the Thunder look toward someone like Andrey Vorontsevich in free agency to fill that role."

The Thunder won't add an instant starter, but gaining a strong asset off of the bench who can fit right into the team culture that Sam Presti has created in OKC will make him an instant hit.
