Kansas Basketball Recruiting: Demetrius Jackson Receives Offer

The Kansas Jayhawks already have the second highest rated recruiting class for 2013, but Bill Self is not close to finished just yet. Instead he's intent on adding another top flight guard from northern Indiana and hopes Demetrius Jackson chooses to play his college ball at Kansas.

"I love everything about the school, especially the Jayhawk nation," Jackson told JayhawkSlant.com. "Also, just talking to coach (Bill) Self and coach (Norm) Roberts, they're not only great coaches, but great guys. That really interests me, when I can sit down and have a conversation with two great people and not just have it be about basketball."

Brannen Greene and Conner Frankamp are the only two recruits in the class so far, but both are generally rated in the top 50 by recruiting services.

Jackson is a 6-1 point guard and has received offers from Louisville, Xavier, Illinois, Michigan State and Notre Dame among others.
