TCU Predicted To Defeat Kansas By 3 Touchdowns

There was plenty of optimism surrounding Charlie Weis, Dayne Crist and the new era of Kansas Jayhawks football after a 31-17 victory over South Dakota State in the season opener. However, that optimism has certainly faded after a 25-24 defeat at the hands of the Rice Owls, and now the Jayhawks are huge underdogs against the No. 16 TCU Horned Frogs.

TCU played its season opener against Grambling State on Saturday and primed themselves for a Big 12 debut with a 56-0 win. Newcomers to the conference, they are favored by three touchdowns on Saturday when they face KU.

With advantages in virtually every statistical category, TCU opened as 22-point favorites, but now have a 21-point spread from most sites.

Saturday's game will be the first matchup between the two teams since they played in 1997.
