TCU Vs. Kansas Score Update: Horned Frogs Lead After First Quarter, 7-3

Turnovers have been the story in the Big 12-opener between TCU and Kansas, and the Horned Frogs have done the best at capitalizing on opportunities, getting out to a 7-3 lead after one quarter.

The Jayhawks forced turnovers on the first two Horned Frogs possessions. Kansas converted the first takeaway into a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

TCU quarterback Casey Pachall fumbled on the next drive, giving the Jayhawks good field position. Unfortunately for Kansas, Dayne Crist gave the ball right back on an interception.

The Horned Frogs started on their own 48 and drove 52 yards in four plays, capped by an 8-yard touchdown pass from Pachall to Brandon Carter to put TCU up 7-3.

Kansas has driven into TCU territory, and will face a 4th-and-1 from the Horned Frogs' 27 when the second quarter begins.
