TCU Vs. Kansas Score Update: Jayhawks Lose Ground In 3rd Quarter, Trail 20-6

The Kansas Jayhawks trail by two touchdowns, 20-6, at the end of the third quarter of their game against the No. 16 TCU Horned Frogs in Lawrence, Kan. Kansas failed to score in the quarter, while TCU added a touchdown to their tally.

The Jayhawks failed to convert on a key 4th-and-1 from the TCU 37-yard line with about three and a half minutes left in the quarter, as Dayne Crist was forced out of the pocket and threw an incomplete pass near the far sideline to avoid taking a sack. This came after a first-down play from the Jayhawks' own 12-yard line in which Crist completed a 42-yard pass to wide receiver Andrew Turzilli.

TCU scored a touchdown in their second drive of the quarter, as quarterback Casey Pachall threw a 25-yard scoring pass to wide receiver Brandon Carter to put TCU up, 17-6. Following Kansas' turnover on downs, TCU marched deep into Jayhawks territory and settled for a Jaden Oberkrom field goal to increase the lead to 20-6.
