TCU's Gary Patterson Frustrated After Win Over Kansas

After a 20-6 victory over Kansas, TCU coach Gary Patterson focused on the team's lack of preparation going into the Horned Frogs Big 12 debut.

"I did believe we did enough to score points to get where we needed to get to. We’ve got to move forward, get a lot better," Patterson said.

TCU had their ups and downs against the Jayhawks, winning by a two touchdown margin and outgaining Kansas 487 yards to 380. However, four lost fumbles, three in the red zone, will be a hard pill to swallow for the Horned Frogs offense.

Patterson acknowledged his team's need for improvement, who head into two non-conference matches before returning to Big 12 play.

"For us, we’re really glad to get our first Big 12 victory. You can’t get to two without one. We know we didn’t play well today," Patterson added. Give KU a lot of credit. They caused some turnovers and moved the football."
