Collin Klein turned in a big performance on the ground and through the air as Kansas State defeated Texas Tech 41-34 to remain unbeaten. The Wildcats are 6-0 for the first time since 2000.
After trailing the Red Raiders 28-20 at halftime, Collin Klein ran for two touchdowns and threw for another while leading the Wildcats on a furious second half comeback. Klein completed 12 of 18 passes for 14 yards and a touchdown through the air. He also piled up 110 yards rushing with three more touchdowns. His two yard touchdown at the end of the third quarter gave Kansas State the lead for good.
Seth Doege had a huge night going 43 of 63 for 460 yards but had just one touchdown and three interceptions. In all, the Red Raiders turned the ball over four times including a 24 yard interception return for a touchdown by the Wildcats' Nigel Malone in the first quarter.
