The initial BCS Rankings have been released and the LSU Tigers take the top spot followed by SEC conference mate Alabama. The Big 12 conference checks in next with Oklahoma at No. 3 and Oklahoma State at No. 4. The Boise State Broncos round out the Top 5.
Fresh off of a come from behind win over Texas Tech, Kansas State checks in just outside the Top 10 at No. 11. The Wildcats will have their opportunity to move way up in the standings when they play both the Sooners and the Cowboys in back-to-back weeks later this season.
Texas A&M (No. 17) and Texas (No. 24) round out the Big 12 teams in the Top 25 of the BCS Rankings for week 8.
