It’s been a busy week in the college football rankings with several teams dropping out and just as many stepping up in the latest AP Top 25 released today. Four teams have been replaced among the best in the country, as seasons have completely turned around for several teams that started so promising.
The Auburn Tigers dropped this week after their shellacking at the hands of the overall No. 1 Louisiana State. Illinois and Georgia Tech and Washington also fell this week after losing on Saturday and each picked up some votes but failed to garner enough to top West Virginia, the current No. 25 at the bottom of the poll after their loss to Syracuse.
