The Kansas St. Wildcats are a surprise 7-0 team and are putting their undefeated record on the line against the No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners at home on Saturday. So far, Kansas State is struggling in the first quarter against Oklahoma and quarterback Landry Jones is passing all over the Kansas State secondary and Jones completed 12-of-15 for 165 yards and one touchdown. On the opening drive Jones was 4-of-5 with all four completions being at least 10 yards with Blake Bell capping off the scoring drive on a 1-yard touchdown run.
Jones then found Dejuan Miller for an 11-yard touchdown pass to go up 14-0 and Jones was nearly as efficient on his second drive as the opening drive by going 4-of-6.
Kansas State finally got on board whenPatrick O'Hara returned the following kick off for 32 yards to give the Wildcats good field position. On that drive Kansas State only moved the ball two yards, but was able to get on the board by kicking a 54-yard field goal by Anthony Cantele to get on the board in the first quarter.
