After the Kansas St. Jayhawks rolled off 17 straight points, the Oklahoma Sooners came back with their own run by scoring 10 unanswered points to end the first half and now lead 23-17. Oklahoma retook the lead following a Kansas State touchdown the Oklahoma offense throwing against the Kansas State secondary and scoring on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Landry Jones to Jaz Reynolds.
The Sooners went onto kick a 53-yard field goal to end the half and lead 23-17. There was a injury for Oklahoma who lost running back Dominique Whaley for the year when he broke his ankle in the first quarter.
Oklahoma received the ball to start the second half and they continued to move the ball through the air against the Kanas State secondary and scored on a Landry Jones 19-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Broles to put Oklahoma up 30-17. So far, Jones had 335 yards passing, three touchdowns but also has two interceptions.
