Kansas State Vs. Loyola Final Score: Wildcats Pull Away For 74-61 Victory

Thomas Gipson finished with 19 points and seven rebounds as Kansas State pulled away in the second half against Loyola (IL) to win 74-61. Gipson's 19 points came despite going just 5 for 12 from the free throw line where Kansas State was a combined 19-32 in the game. 

Will Spradling joined Gipson in double figures for Kansas State with 15 points including two three pointers. Rodney McGruder chipped in 14 points while Jordan Henriquez just missed out on a double double with 10 points and nine rebounds. The Wildcats hit on 47 percent of their shots despite turning the ball over 17 times. 

Ben Averkamp led the way for the Ramblers with 19 points and seven rebounds. Denzel Brito tossed in 12 points including 9-10 from the free throw line. Jonathon Gac came off the bench to record 10 points and seven boards. Loyola was able to keep itself in the game by shooting 23-29 from the free throw line.
