College Football Rankings: Kansas State Wildcats Climb To No. 16 At NFP

The National Football Post has released its latest college football rankings and the Kansas State Wildcats have climbed to No. 16 this week in the top 25. Coming after last week’s No. 17 ranking, it’s clear that the win over the Texas Longhorns this weekend wasn’t as convincing as many would like.

Bill Snyder likely will use this to his motivational advantage, however, telling his team that they still lack respect on the national level. The Wildcats are now 9-2 overall and are second in the Big 12 behind the Oklahoma State Cowboys and yet haven’t cracked the Top 15, at least in this poll. Next week’s game at Iowa State could bring a tenth win and that total should look very impressive to voters.

Here’s this week’s Top 25 for the National Football Post:
1. LSU (11-0) 1
2. Alabama (10-1) 4
3. Arkansas (10-1) 6
4. Oklahoma State (10-1) 2
